Pray for Emory!

This picture is of Dean(L) & Emory(R) taken at Gage's birthday party.

Poor little Emory had to have an unexpected surgery last night for pyloric stenosis.

So, please pray for a speedy & uncomplicated recovery for Baby Emory, and pray for his parents, Nathan & Ginger.

thanks!

What sweet little things! I will keep Emory and his family in my thoughts and prayers...hopefully he has a speedy recovery. Is Pyloric Stenosis something a baby is born with?

Thanks for all of your prayers for my little boy! :)

He is doing so much better today. He is keeping his food down! There is slight chance we will get to go home tonight, but if not then for sure tomorrow morning.

Pyloric Stenosis is when the muscle at the base of the stomach that pushes food into the small intestine grows too big and closes off the opening so food can't leave the stomach. It causes them to vomit everything very forcefully. It shows up between 2 and 6 weeks. As they grow the muscle grows too big. They cut the muscle to solve the problem. Nathan looked it up and it happens to about 3 out of 1000 babies.

Again, thanks for your prayers.

Sending lots of prayers - my son had that surgery when he was 10 days old. I pray and hope for a speedy recovery. It is sooo hard to have to go through that all. All my love and support to the family.
