Motherhood Confession...
So, this is my confession:
When the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show is ending, they play this song....this hot-diggity-dog song. I dance all around to that little tune. It's my favorite of all the cartoon songs. I can't help myself. It's so fun to me. So, I burst into dance that is....well, it probably looks like a messed up blend of Jazzercise & "Dancing at the Club".
Yeah...I think I'm cool.
I'm sure Gage disagrees...or, if he actually THINKS I'm still cool, it's only b/c he doesn't know any better....yet.

Yay, I am not the only one! But my kids do not think I am cool. They give me the most awful looks.
Good grief I hate that song! It has the power to get stuck in my head all.day.long. I would be mad at you for planting it there now, but frankly, it was already there.

I haven't thought about that song since Carole and family was living with us in the summer of 06. She absolutely hated that song! :)
HA! I kid you not. I was singing this the other day while making breakfast. Hubby shot me a glare that will go down in history. It's a catchy little diddy!!
Yeah, but have you ever watched the end of Handy Manny- right after the credits, they play Choo Choo Soul. They have like 3-4 songs this woman dressed as a train conductor belts out. Man, I jam to that!
Well, there will be a period where your mere existence may grieve him, but it will pass. Forgive me, I spend too much time with teenagers. But then he'll grow out of it and his mama dancing with him will probably be one of his cherished memories.
When I'm feeling all full of myself, I will break out the goofy dance when that song is on. Little Elvis has already realized that his mommy is NOT cool.

I used to run around singing the Blues Clues song when the kids were younger. That and the Teletubbies song...what was I thinking?

HAHA! Me & my friend here at work were doing the "Hot-Diggety-Dog" dance the other day. She was doing the Goofy & I was Minnie.
Of course, the owner of the company chose *that* moment to walk through the department. He just looked at us like we were nuts.
