Life Is Just So Daily

Hubby & the THNGVBD.

That would be: Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.

Um....let me start by saying...Sunday, I had a little cough.
Yesterday, I went to work.
Yesterday evening: full on chest rattle yucky stuff.
I call my mom to tell her that I'm sick (and thank her for spreading her nasty-ass germs)...
After that, Gage throws up.
So....Gage & I get quarantined into the bedroom with a stack of books. Hubby, still recovering from surgery cannot afford to get sick. AAAAND---yesterday was his first day back to work in weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeks.

Today: he's got blood clots in his urine. CLOTs. Gross.
Back to the doctor.

He's got an infection along his surgical sites, and his bladder is filling w/ blood & clots. Gross. More meds, more rest.

And then I check the mail....what could it be? He gets selected for fucking jury duty. This could SERIOUSLY not come at a worse time.
Photobucket

And, of course, he doesn't even know it yet...but I get to tell him in a little bit...and...he's supposed to serve on the day before his birthday! I suppose it could be worse: he could have been selected to serve ON his birthday...

Life is pretty sucky right now for my Hubby.

Ugggh...Sorry about all that. Hopefully you and Gage start to feel better soon and the sickness doesn't get ANY worse! Also...hoping they figure out what is going on with your husband and get him back to normal!

Oh my....

Verdict is in - get a doctor's note to excuse him!

WOW - too much on your plate - hope you feel better soon.

Your family is having a serious run of bad luck.
Can't your husband get out of jury duty? (We can here - with good reasons.) Love that picture!
Hope you are ALL feeling better soon.

Oy yoi! Hope the sickness passes soon, and that the court understands that recovering from surgery is a valid reason not to serve.

I agree with everyone, get him off jury service with a 'sick note'.... I hope he comes right soon though... poor bugger.

That sucks all around. I bet he could get out of it because he is recovering from surgery.

I hope you and Gage feel better soon. With Hubby's surgery on 3/10 I am surprised he got sent back to work so soon. My dad has had bladder related surgery and the recovery is at LEAST two-three weeks - no work. Moving around too much brings on those clots. Remember he should lift nothing heavier than a phonebook for the first two weeks (that's our doc's advice for dad). Check with the doc again...My best to you guys.

That's so scary about the blood clots! I hope that will clear up soon. And that you and Gage will start feeling better.
Maybe he won't be selected for jury duty. I've never been called up, but my advice to friends that have is to wear a shirt with something extremely crazy on it. Like shoplifters should get the gas chamber. Jaywalkers should have their feet chopped off. Something like that, and then he needs to say something really crazy when they ask him a question.
"Yes, I think that people who steal cable should have to stand on a roof during an electrical storm." "People who get drunk and go to the bathroom in public should be sent off to Deliverance country. It's perfectly fine to go to the bathroom outside there."
Crazy tips, but maybe they'll help?

Oh man! That totally stinks! When it rains it pours. He'll definitely get out of it, though.

Jury duty is awful no matter how healthy or sick anyone is. Public duty my butt, they just don't want to have to pay someone...;) Melissa sent me your way, seems I have the rest of your motivational posters on my post today, LOL! Now I'm adding this one!

Hope you ALL feel better soon and OMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!! It can't get worse. (ducks and runs, hoping she has not just jinxed you by saying that)

Poor hubby! I hope he gets to doing better soon and I totally agree a Dr.s note should excuse him from Jury Duty!

I hope you and Gage are feeling better soon too. This is a crummy sickness that is going around this year! Yuck!
