Question of the Day:

Remember those Quizno commercials. What were those little...rat looking things?
They looked like rats to me. Because of that, I have never eaten at a Quiznos.

Hey marketing department: GREAT WORK, you idiots.
sure, you have me talking about Quiznos...but I'm not spending any money in your establishments....

I'm not sure what they are so I had to google them. Apparently they are number 10 on the Creepiest Fast Food Mascot list (http://www.fanpop.com/spots/legendary-ads/soapbox/56). Didn't know there was a list.

My brother worked for Quiznos when those commercials came out...even HE didn't know what those rat things were.

And who knew there was a top 10 list of creepy fast food mascots!!

I seem to remember some news story about them saying it was some type of monkey. I HATED those commercials. To this day I refuse to eat there because of them.

BLD - I HATE Quizno's commercials! Every one! Once I actually wrote at complaint letter to the marketing department because I thought one was particularly offensive (anybody see the one with the guy sucking on the she-wolf's teet? Gross.) It was infuriating because their response was "no animals were hurt in the filming of this commerical". Yeah, I know that. That was not my issue! They are idiots. I never eat there.

That's not nearly as bad as Chuck E. Cheese, a restaurant which has a huge rat as its mascot. Not only that, "Chuck E." sounds exactly like "Chucky," the doll from the horror movies, who I also really would not like to share my meal with. The third strike could be either crappy pizza or the total sensory overload, but either way, the rat is outta here.

You know, until 3B wants to go. At which time, Mama can take him.

Papa---you don't know it yet...but Chuck E.Cheese rocks. The pizza is not so hot, but the games....and climb-on toys...Gage LOVES it.

(now, the mom in me is soooo sure that the place is absolutely COATED in GERMS. And...so, I let him play there anyway... Now, that's life on the edge...)

Megan...no, I did not see that one, and I cannot believe you wrote a letter. You know how much I love a good letter!
