Sunday....
Well, I updated about Dad riding out Hurricane Ike there in Houston.
He's been staying at the hotel. No power at home.
Mom's house lost power on Saturday afternoon in Tyler & they didn't get power back until Sunday night.
Thank GOODNESS we didn't lose power b/c I went to buy groceries after work on Friday.
Sunday.... like I previously posted, got my new camera. (we all had a little fun playing around in the backyard with the new camera....)
And then, my mother in law came over to celebrate her birthday. Good times!
:)
I baked ziti with chicken & made a chocolate cake.
There was some backyard baseball...with Gage in his underwear. (okay...whatever!)
(yes, that is a down tree branch in the background...Hubby cut it down, but then the chainsaw gave out & we have to buy a new one...and the bad weather rolled in...and yada, yada, yada.)
Someone got goosed!!!
Looks like he enjoyed his cake!
I think a good time was had by all!!!!
And...that evening, we got some pictures hung on the wall, switched out a picture above the fireplace & installed a light over the fireplace picture. It was really a very productive day!

I love the first picture. Cuteness!
Glad your family is okay - my parents are still without power in Jacksonville (out on the lake - in town has power) and will be for at least another week, according to the dudes they talked to yesterday. They are borrowing my aunt's generator (she lives in Lindale), so at least the fridge is okay for now.
My grandmother got her power back yesterday in Houston. YAY!
What a cutie!
Glad your family is doing well. My 2 sisters here in town are okay, too. And my aunt. It was a hard few days for sure. I am feeling very thankful.
Gage is so cute!! I also wanted to tell you...you are the only one that ever comments on my posts...thanks for making me feel loved!
It seems like Gage is growing up right before our eyes...he looks ike such a big boy now!
