So, Here are some more RECENT pics of the updated nursery.
Clearly, we still have a ways to go... but I promised to keep everyone posted on the progress.
:)

and remember...these are just to update on the paint.
the furniture is not in place, no shelves are up, etc.
we still have a ways to go.

And, here's the current bedding/decor set:

(I had to steal those pics from Ebay b/c I couldn't find the pattern in stores anymore...)

I really like it. My wife has been telling me what she is going to do to the babies room once we have kids. I think to myself, "Gee, I wish I was creative like that." I guess women are way more creative then men because my ideas are way less sophisticated. =o)

Whoa! How did you do the paint? I am so creatively inept that I am in AWE.

It's beautiful. Simply beautiful.

P.S. I wish you had an email address up on your site so that I could reply back about the comment you left on mine. Suffice to say that your comment made me laugh a lot and I appreciated it so much. Can't wait to put your advice into action!

Well. I am SO put in my place. The whole room just looks so beautifully put together.

When Liv was a baby, I mostly used family furniture. My grandmother's baby bed and rocker, my sister's children's old dressers and the old green rug with the alphabet on it from my old room.

Nothing matched. And I mean NOTHING.

Nothing matches still. Her big girl bed belonged to my sister. Even her dresser used to be mine.

And her walls were/are cream with a top border of cows jumping over the moon. I suppose that in a year or two she will be done with that.

Lovely room. Ah...to be so good at decorating would be such a nice thing.

Hey Lainey! :^D Soooo ya wanna win the The It's a MAJOR Award! award? Ya gotta post to your blog why you think you ought to win. :^D (But just between you and me, your parenthetical FYI about Lumbar Punctures made me crack up and I'd give you the award just for that! I'm easy aren't I?)

After you post your desperate plea for the award (since that's one of the rules) just e-mail me and I'll give you the code for the award and instructions on how to put it in your sidebar. :^D
