New Words.

4/27/7
"MINE." Oh yeah. It crept into his little vocabulary.

5/2/7
"Fuzz."
"Dun-dun" = Thunder

5/3/7
"Uhh-la-la" = Umbrella

I could listen to him say those words over & over & over.
I love it. And when he holds the umbrella, and tries to say it...it's so cute. I can't even tell ya!

He's getting quite a vocabulary!

When my boys were small they called an umbrella a "newbrella" and it was so cute I never corrected them. Eventually they grew out of it, and I was a little sad.

Isn't the process of them learning to speak a blast? Vampboy said his first complete sentence this week -- "I like blue". So cute I can't even stand it.

So cute. I love when they mis-pronounce words. For a while though when T had just turned 3 he would talk non-stop. Mama, Mama, mama, I said "why did I ever teach him that word, if he says it one more time I will scream!"

Sounds like you have a cutie!

I almost put the Byron Barton vehicle series on the list. My kids both loved them. Trucks, Boats, Planes and Trains. They can't get enough.

It's great that you're keeping track of them; they'll learn the "real" words soon enough. It's so fun to hear a young child's interpretation.

Trystan and Riley always wanted 'Mimi's" (M&M). As Trystan got older it turned into "lemanims".
Riley never said 'Daddy', he always said 'Daddum'.
Trystan has grown from saying "Mommy" to "Momma". I agree with CountryMama, some days I want to change my name. Yesterday, my name was "Momma Ranger", and of course, I am the Pink Ranger-cuz pink is for girls.
