San Antonio Trip....Part III.
We woke up on Sunday with lots to do!
We wanted to go to the Natural Bridge Caverns...but Hubby told me that I'd need tennis shoes.
I failed to pack tennis shoes.
So, we needed to make a stop for shoes.
Only thing---it was 9am on a Sunday morning.
Who was open?
Ross.
I ended up in a pair of Keds for less than $20. They'd do in a pinch...Didn't do much for my outfit, but that's okay. They were functional.
After that---it was time to pan for gold!
We all had so much fun with Gage. So much fun!
...and then we were done. It was about noon.
We had such a long Sunday, so this post only reflects a few hours of our day.
Natural Bridge Caverns were awesome.
Autumn was our tour guide. She was a really cute young gal, and at one point, she was telling us different stuff about various formations in the cavern...then she said, "Are there any questions?" And Gage---without missing a beat, turned to Hubby & said, "How much longer 'til this tour is over?" He didn't think about how his voice would be projected inside the cavern. It was pretty cute. Others were tickled, and we were pretty tickled too.
:)
Okay---I'm typing this on a Saturday evening. Colin & Melissa are about to be here for a visit, so I've gotta scoot!
:)

It IS a fun place! Glad you enjoyed it! I want to see shoe-pics, though!
What fun. You should be able to retire with the proceeds from all the valuables Gage panned out of the stream.
You're making memories! How awesome is that?
