***Free Dog!***
******************************************************
She digs.
She bites.
She chews.
She whines.
She escapes during her bath.
She pees inside.
She poops inside.
She wiggles out of the backyard fence.
She attacks your feet like a cat.
She's not fixed yet, so some day she'll go into heat.
And she's free to a good home!
Okay....not really. I'm in this for the long haul. But seriously folks---Tending to Bonnie is wearing.me.the.f*#$!.out.
This dog will chew the shoes right off your feet, if you'll let her.
I feel like all weekend I've been spewing "No!" & "Stop That!" at both Bonnie & Gage. They get frustrated with each other, and it's worse than two squabbling kids. I know, without a doubt, that it would have been easier if someone had just handed me a free baby instead of a free dog.
Bonnie-Girl, I love you....but to the rest of the world---beware of the "Free Dog!"

I love how she looks so innocent in the first picture. ;) What a doll, hehe.
That's why they're so cute--so you don't strangle them! =)
Ugggh...training dogs is a nightmare. I feel your pain. She'll get through it and hopefully you won't lose your mind...but you might lose some shoes! :)
She is so stinkin cute!!!
Oh Hell don't remind me of how they are~! Teddy still eats shoes given half a chance! Bonnie is just being a normal puppy! Get her fixed if you don't to have to worry about her going into heat and all that encompasses!
She's a puppy! She'll outgrow all those terrible habits. All you need are patience and endurance!
Good thing puppies and babies are cute, huh?
lol. I think puppies and babies are cute and adoreable for a reason. So we don't give them back!lol.
Hang in there. It gets better. just make sure to get plenty of rawhide chewies for Bonnie's little teeth. And get the plain ones if you have carpet... the flavored ones will get your carpet all dirty and nasty.
puppies...they're just like kids but with sharper teeth! our dog bit all the time too...our vet said we have to be like his dog mama and grab him, throw him on his back and growl at him! tell him no, smack his nose...yada yada...just like his own mother would. it worked. but the kids had a HARD time doing it. they thought they were hurting him!
things will get better. just look at all the blog postings you'll have from sweet, adorable little Bonnie! ;)
I hate puppy training! I have totally been there and thought for a while that I had lost my mind. Hang in there!
i agree...dogs are a ridiculous amount of work. and while i see it as beneficial in the long run...it is NOT for our family right now.
hope she...and you all! settle in soon!
But she's so CUTE! I'd like to say it gets better but it would be coming from a girl who has 50 holes in her yard and who just lost her softball glove to the jaws of her "cute wittle puppy" last weekend. :)
well at least soon she won't fit throught the fence!!!
Dogs are always hard to train, but are so worth it in the long run. Stick with it Laney!
Watch an episode of the The Dog Whisperer. TRUST ME! His way of handling dogs works. You have to tire out this puppy because the chewing is all his youthful energy - long walks and I'm going to email you this "no pull" collar/leash that you must order.
DOG WHISPERER...trust me!
Hahahaha!!! Hopefully she will outgrow those nasty little annoying puppy habits and then she'll become that sweet old dog that grows old with Gage...too cute!
