Nothing & Something GREAT!
Today...I did NOTHING!
Well, not really. I worked on cleaning the house. But as far as getting out of the house...well, I went as far as the outdoor recycle bin. That's it.
I worked two night shifts in a row, so I've been pretty much useless as far as enteratainment goes for today.
And onto the "something great"....Gage used the potty all by himself today! I know, I know---he's used the potty before. But, it's been with us escorting him into the restroom & being there, etc. Today, he went in there by himself, used the restroom, and then told me after the fact. AAANNNDDD: he insisted on no-diaper for his nap, so he slept without one & woke up dry! So, I guess we have TWO great somethings to be happy about today!
I suppose the key to self-toileting is to leave his clothes off & the bathroom light on.
:)
Way to go, buddy! Mommy's so proud of you!!!!

I'm not familiar with you or your son, but when a 12 year old learns to go potty all by himself, it is, indeed, cause for celebration! And a cake!
That's great about potty training-every accomplishment is shear victory!! And everyone needs a day off once in a while!
I love "pajama days", whether you stay in your pj's or not! Glad you had such a productive day - all the way around!
That's great about going all by himself! Congrats to Gage!
Like you, I didn't venture far from home today! And I loved it! Congrats to Gage!
Good for you. A "do nothing" day is essential to our well-being.
And congrats to Gage and the potty use. Only mothers can truly appreciate this milestone - and breathe a sigh of relief when it is finally achieved.
Awww he is such a big boy now!
Yep potty training involves lots of naked time.
Aw, good boy!!! Seth is finally getting the potty thing down too and even got to move out of his class at daycare into a bigger class, which is nice. For the most part, he is dry at naps and at night, so it shouldn't be too much longer.
Congrats Gage!!!
That's awesome! Loves the potty training!
Wow, I am impressed! Girly now needs me to come with her all the blinkin' time, even though she can do everything herself. ugh.
Hope you get some rest today girl!
I love those rare days of staying home all day.You must be exhausted after 2 nightshifts, I know I am exhausted after any evening shift.
Yay Gage!
Ha ha! Congrats!!
Hah!
Nothing.
I WISH I could do nothing, my life seems to be constant WORK.
I wish I could do nothing, even to the point of wearing diapers!
