Hangin' Out....

On Wednesday night, we went over to Mark & Pam's.

They are some new friends in our neighborhood.
Let's see...we've lived here for 4 years now.
They've lived in their house for a year now.

Crew Present: Me, Hubby, Gage, Mark, Pam, Tera, Nathan, & Aubri....

And we were greeted at the door by their dogs, Apollo & Abi.
Let me tell you---I wanted to put a saddle on Apollo & let Gage go for a ride.
These dogs are Huuuuuuuuuuuuge. And they are soooooooooooo sweet!

We had a great time....the spirits were flowing, and Thursday morning---I was hating life. I was hungover, and had to go to work. I wear heels at work, and the floor in the ER is tile. Every step that I took made that little high-heel sound...it was like an ice pick jabbing into my brain with every step. I wanted to just take my shoes off! ....but um....on an ER floor? No thanks.

Anyway....here are some pictures from the night...

Pam & Mark

Hanging out....

Pam made Smores!!!

While we were there, Abi somehow noticed that the clock on the wall has a little second hand that moves more quickly than the minute & hour hands.
It was so funny. She was fascinated & consumed with that clock!!!!
(and yes, she's in heat, so she's wearing her "bitch's britches"...)

Gage LOVED the dogs. The above picture is of Apollo & Gage.
I think they just may be "Best Buds Forever!"
On Thursday morning, he talked about Abi & Apollo all the way out to Rockwall.
The first thing out of his mouth to Poppa (once we got to Rockwall) was to tell him all about "the biiiiiiiiiiiig dogs!"

:)
And, a good time was had by all.

Those dogs are indeed HUGE! I take it they are used to little children... otherwise I would have been to scared to let my littlies near them! Fancy putting pants on a dog, but what a great idea! Bitch's britches.... love it! and as for your hangover... self inflicted misery ... that is all I am going to say! LOL

I was in a hospital once staying with family over night when I had to step out of the room to go to the rest room. I decided to not put on my glasses because it was kind of late and I was just going right down the hall. Anyway I rounded the corner of the hall and saw this big brown thing with four legs. I was so shocked to see it at first that I couldn’t figure out what it was. My first startled blurry eyed thought was that it was a miniature horse, but no it was a great dane . . . I think!

We have a large collie, so little kids LOVE him. He's very gentle and just lays there. So I LOVED the pics of Apollo and Gage. Very very cute.
