We're home now.
DOUBLE EAR INFECTION.
Gage has never had an ear infection before.
Poor Buddy!
But, the doc says that he's not contagious. That whatever bug or virus he had has passed the infectious phase, and left him with a double ear infection. He never even complained of his ears hurting! What the hell???? Kids are so weird.

Hope he feels better soon. One of my sons had so many ear infections as a baby he didn't even cry when he had them! He ended up with grommets in both ears at 10 months, then AGAIN at 20 months and removal of his tonsils and adnoids... then he finally stopped getting them. I hope Gage never gets one again.
Maybe that is why he was whiney and not sleeping right.
Aw poor kid. Rach used to get ear infections every time she cut a tooth. ((((gage))))

Glad you got the diagnosis in good time. And now you'll know to suspect the ears if he spikes a fever again.
That was Zakary. He had double infections and showed no signs what so ever. Hope he feels better soon.

You know that I know all about some ear infections!!!! We haven't had one since the tubes, praise the Lord!! That was always the best thing about ear infections....NOT CONTAGIOUS! I heard a doctor say one time that she is only contagious if you suck on her ear...okay, yuk!

I have to say that none of my kids would complain about their ears. Usually they would get conjunctivitis and I would take them in and the doc would tell me that their eardrums were about to burst, their ears were so infected!

Porgie had a double ear infection a few months back, and she never pulled on her ears or anything. I had no clue.
The good news is that the antibiotics work quickly, and he should be feeling better soon!
Poor thing! I don't remember how I found your blog, but I've been reading past entries for a while, and just loving the pics of little Gage! He's so adorable!!
Poor little thing. Sick kids are so sad. Hopefully he gets better soon. My sister almost had to get tubes in her ears from getting ear infections so much.
awww...poor Gage! =( Ear infections are NO FUN....Brayden had them consistently until we finally had to put tubes in. Hope he is feeling better soon!
