When I was 16....

I got my first car....
(this is not my car in the pictures, but it's just LIKE mine was...white, black top...)

My '93 Toyota Celica GT Convertible....

Oh, I loved that car.

I drove it for YEARS until it was totalled in an accident (that was NOT my fault).

I miss it.
Now, granted...things were going wrong with it toward the end...it was getting old & had a TON of miles on it.... but for those of us with memories in that car, it was a wonderful, wonderful, bestest-car-evah!

BESTEST-CAR-EVAH!

My first car, I was 21, was a Cadillac Cimarron... I too loved this car but it didn't love me! I wound up putting about 4 grand into and at the end it still died on me!

Glad you have a happy memory of yours but everytime I see one like mine I punch it in the face or you know hood! :o)

My first car was a Saturn. It was also totaled in an accident - not my fault. The amount of damage exceeded the value of the car, so I was given a check for the blue-book value of my Saturn. The day the insurance company came to tow my car away, I cried. Very sad.

My first car was an '84 Chrylser LeBaron and it was AWESOME, despite the fact that it strongly resembled somehthing my grandparents would drive. Sadly, it too was totalled in an accident. I'm loathe to admit it, but it was TOTALLY my fault...because I was 16 and my mind was busy thinking of pubescent, high school-type stuff intead of concentrating on driving.

first, a 76 Chevy Caprice that was rusted out. Most of the time it would never start and when you did get it to start, it would still shudder after you turned it off like it was dying. It shook if you went over 80 but you could get so many people in it. I sort of miss it.
