Premonition with Sandra Bullock...
LOVED IT. It made me cry at more than one point. You go through a whole wide variety of emotions. It was soooooo good.

Loved this too. Ooooooh creepy & sneaky & scary that the guy was never caught....but what a good movie. Or...I liked it anyway...


Casino Royale...
Um---who is this new Bond? Yeah...I'm not buying it. As a movie, so far I think it's a good movie...but doesn't make me think "Hey! That's James Bond!" Bring back Sean Connery or Pearce Brosnan. This guy....he seems like a good actor, and I know I've seen him in other stuff....and maybe it's not his fault that I'm not buying him as Bond. It's the writing/story/dialogue. For example: Bond & the Treasury Chick are getting ready for the poker game. She gets HIM a jacket? She is concerned about his fashion sense & what he looks like for the game? I think not. The Bond I know & love would be dressed to impress already & would already have the best of the best.
And...speaking of that....did anyone else notice that near the beginning of the movie they had Bond driving a FORD? Not trying to knock Fords or anything...but he's BOND...James Bond. He drives these super fun swanky cars/motorcycles, etc. Now granted, later in the movie, he gets a better car with a defibrillator, and it just so happens that Dept.of the Treasury-girl walks up on him & knows instantly to fix it, how to fix it, and to push the red button....whatever.
And still, I think it's a pretty good movie. Just not a Bond movie...


Isolation.
This movie SUCKED. I only saw about....20 minutes of it.
Once I saw the fetuses (multiple of fetus=what???) of the pregnant CALF that was just delivered from a cow, I was done. And nauseated. It was gross & sad, and NOT FOR ME.
So, the amount of the movie that I saw SUCKED. And, I can't speak for the rest of it...


The Shooter
It was okay. Very actiony.... Damon's ready to go out & buy a copy...me: not so much. It was just...okay/good, but not great-i-must-own-it kind of movie. I don't want to sit & watch it again....
