1) I think Drew Barrymore is super cute in romantic comedies.
2) Hugh...oh, Hugh. I just can't help but think---every single time that I see him: you were boppin' Elizabeth Hurley, and still had to run around with hookers? You're a total moron.

I saw it. Made the husband go with me. Even he enjoyed it, though if asked he'll say, "Meh. It was okay." Yeah, but he laughed at all the right times and squeezed my hand in all the romantic places.
So yeah. I liked it. And I agree with your assessment of both Drew and Hugh. Cuties, the lot of them!

It was OK. I didn't love it, but it had some cute parts. It was DEFINITELY better than all the other romantic comedies (Catch and Release, Because I Said So) that came out around the same time!

I know! that is so true about Hugh Grant, i enjoy watching him but that thought is always lurking about. I can't watch Mel Gibson movies at all any more. I try to know as little as possible about actors lest as it spoil my suspension of reality.
I thought the movie was better than it looked in the ads. My mom and I watched it together, and we both thought it was cute. I especially liked the singing songs to the tone deaf hotel concierge.
Haven't seen it, but I like Barrymore too. She isn't gauntly skinny, looks like real person.
When we saw the third Pirates movie, I kept thinking that Keira K looked almost too thin.
I get all pissy when women look like anorexic patients.
I have a hard time watching Drew because her mouth is crooked. Drives me nuts and it is all I can pay attention to.
