Colorado Trip....Day 2.

On Sunday morning, Gage & I were the early risers.
We threw on some warm clothes & set out around LionsHead to find a Starbucks. We saw one the day before, so we were quite comfortable walking about in search of Mommy's coffee. {Helloooooo, Pumpkin Spice Latte. I've been missin' you!}

Much to our surprise, it didn't open until 7 or 7:30, and we were about an hour early. Ugh.

But, when we returned to the hotel, we found that there was a Starbucks on the 2nd floor of the hotel! Huh....who knew?

So, we got coffee, and the others woke. We had breakfast, and then set out to the Farmer's Market at Vail Village. They have it every Sunday. Food, crafts, so much to see & do & taste! Mmmmm.

That was fun.
After that, we headed over to Oktoberfest at Beaver Creek.

Gage had a great time playing in the children's creekbed play area....

And needless to say, our son was soaking wet.
Um....this required a trip to a local WalMart to pick up a pair of jeans for Gage because his were too wet to go into a restaurant for lunch...
That's a sign of a great day, right?

After WalMart & lunch at a local Mexican restaurant, we hit the open road to drive about & take in the scenery...

We got THAT close to a deer. Just hanging out....It was so fun. Gage loved it!

We headed back to the hotel for a swim before dinner...

(this was a really warm little private outdoor pool that was GREAT.)

And then we headed out to dinner here:

Where they had a really cool ski lift swing that Gage & I loved...

Gage had fun playing in this old gondola car....

And then we headed around the corner for gelato! Yummmmmm!!!

That made for a happy camper...

And it made for a very long day!
Adventurous & fun, but long. We were all ready to turn in for the night...and so we did.
