Sunday, July 4th.

Well, I've posted about Saturday, July 3rd.
We were all up late, late, late.

Sunday, July 4th---we were up---fairly early, and set out on Operation Clean The Castle!
Why?
Houseguests.
You guessed it.

But, in reality, the houseguests love us and they came to see us and go out on the boat...not to scrutinize the cleanliness of the house. So, that took some of the pressure off!

Mom, David, Mario, & Allen all joined us on the 4th for some fun on the lake.
Before we could get started, the boys (Hubby & Gage) had to return the anchor that we bought the day before. Stupid person in the anchor department! Sold us the WRONG anchor, and it did NOT work, and it just wore us all out to watch Hubby jack with that thing over & over & over again.

Anyway....we all met at the marina, and loaded up on the boat for a great day of fun!

We took them to see our Bass Pro Shop {aka: Home Away from Home for us...}
Then we went to have lunch at the Harbor...




And then---back to the boat for more fun!



A while later, we headed back to the house to rest a bit before the fireworks & Tracey Lawrence concert at Rowlett's QueFest.
Much to our surprise---we found out that it was cancelled.
:(
So disappointing. So we rode around on the lake & caught views of fireworks here & there...off in the distance. It was so NOT like the fireworks show the night before, but it was still a good night.
