Dear Melissa & Goofball: I could slap you both.

Dear Melissa & Goofball:

It's early in the morning.
I've barely started my cup of coffee, and I could slap you both.
Gage just LOVES the drum you got him.
LOVES it.
When you guys have a child, I'm going to run right out & buy THIS for your child:

May your mornings be filled with jam sessions & solo performances.

May your ears ring & your head be filled with the noise (I mean...music) of a young budding artist.

Pay-backs are a b*tch.
Love ya!

lol! I have forbidden a drum set from entering our home. I have 4 boys, can you imagine the noise from that?! Hopefully once the newness wears off he won't be waking you with a new performance everyday. :)

Did you know that learning to play a musical instrument supposedly enhances a child's academic performance. Do you CARE with that music blaring in your ears??!!

I reckon a TRUMPET would be better as a pay back gift!!!!

Aw, bring Gage and his drum to my house - he'll fit right in with Tyler's band in his room...

Thanks for stopping by my blog!
My father got my boys EACH an entire drum set for Christmas last year because he thought it would be funny. They are still in the boxes in the attic because you would have to be slightly insane to let 3 year old twin boys each have access to their own drum set!

I was looking for gift ideas for my nieces and a music teacher friend suggested an ocarina or something else, I forget. Even though the girls' parents are kind of jerks, I thought that would be uncool. Another friend "suggested" puppies if I was going to go in the make-the-parents-hate-us-direction.
