I HEART N.D.
That's right---Neil Diamond.
And quite frankly, it's Cracklin' Rosie who is making me smile.
Oh, I love my Rosie child....
I'm having such a horrible day at work, that the only saving grace is YouTube and my ability to access Neil Diamond videos & play them repeatedly.
Phone Call Conversation:
Me: "How soon until I can quit my job?"
Hubby: "Um.....not today!"
I wake up in Dallas.
I drive to Rockwall to drop Gage off.
I turn around & drive to Arlington to work!
I am normally the person that says, "I do it because I love my job."
Not today.
Today I'm the girl that screamed, cussed, and cried at my desk & almost packed my stuff.
....ahhhh....tomorrow is a stay at home day.
It will hopefully be better.
In the meantime, It's me & Neil until I can go home!

Neil's the BEST.
Hope today ends on a better note and tomorrow is tons of fun at home!
I love me some Sweet Caroline. I totally sing it at the top of my lungs in the car.
I think my mom raised me on the soundtrack to the Jazz Singer.
I love, love, love ND. I can sing every word to every song on the Jazz Singer record. Okay, the English ones.
Sorry you are having one of those days. Neil is Okay but I love me some Barry Manilow.
I loves me my Neil Diamond. My Bad Day music is Rod Stewart.
Nope, not a big fan of N.D. I don't hate him. I'm more of a James Taylor and I do love Rod Stewart.
I'm sorry that your day was rough.
I think Neil Diamond is cool, too! You know how they did that musical with Billy Joel's music -- Movin' Up? I so think they should do that with Neil Diamond's music. His songs are made for a musical if you ask me.
Hope your tomorrow is much better!
I am, I said
To no one there
And no one heard at all
Not even the chair
I am, I cried
I am, said I
And I am lost, and I can't even say why
Leavin' me lonely still
Well, I will completely ignore the whole Neil Diamond thing and just decide that we can still be friends and disagree.....BUT, I am so sorry your day was so bad. I am thinking that it doesn't help that you have worked like a DOG since Thursday! You just worked 5 days in a row...something you aren't exactly accustomed to these days. Have fun for the next two days....I will be there on Thursday! YIPPEE.....
Sorry for the bad day!!!! When I read that you liked ND, I instantly thought of Shannon cause she LOVES him and rocks out with her windows down around town!
I heart ND too! I saw him in concert many many years ago and he was great.
Hope the rest of your day goes better.
VB recently came home from school and sang "Sweet Caroline" at the top of his lungs on the way home. I guess his teachers are teaching him all the classics -- it made my day!
Keep you chin up work-wise -- but its good to know Neil and his sparkly shirts are just a keystroke away!
LOVE Sweet Caroline! I wonder how many baby girls were named Caroline because of that song?
A girl after me own heart, I love Neil too. Hope the job is better tomorrow.
