1990.
So....when I was about...ummmmm....twelve years old....getting Glamour Shots was the in-thing to do.
Me in my school picture when I was twelve:
And the Glamour Shot... well, let me warn you: I look...um....like I am from Texas with that BIG HAIR! (Okay...I am from Texas, but I've never intentionally styled my hair that big other than these Glamour Shots. And then---it wasn't me. They did that...the "glamour stylists"....)
Are y'all ready for a laugh????
Laugh all you want. I thought I was hot stuff.
And just for fun today....come up with your best captions please!
It reminds me of a very Nancy Grace type pose....
But you guys---humor me. What caption goes with that Glamour Shot???

I am not sure about the caption, but that jacket is too funny! Red fringe?
OMG...I cannot believe that....WOW...Love the hair and the make up and the jacket...
Thanks for sharing!
Hawt! Love it!
You are such a great sport to share with us.
You scream Texas. Wonder how much hairspray is in there?
No WAY! I have that exact same pose, but put about 9 years on me, LOL. I had the Glamour Shot thing done in November of '91 for my now husband (then boyfriend) - the picture is STILL in his office - doesn't look a THING like me! I ought to try and scan it sometime.
That is a huge difference. It is amazing how much older you looked in the Glamor shot.
I remember doing that and I have saved mine too. I pull it out every once in a while for a good laugh. I too had huge hair.
That is a great idea for a post, I might have to copy it.
MY AUDITION PHOTO FOR A PART ON PRETTY WOMAN...JUST CALL ME THE COUNTRY WESTERN HOOKER
ALSO I'M LAUGHIING SO VERY HARD AT YOU RIGHT NOW
Caption: "Here I aymmmm JR".... Ewing ... from Dallas!
....for some reason, it also makes me think of a real estate business card.
"If I can't sell your home, I'll just buy it myself!"
All I can think of is, "Don't mess with Texas." But that doesn't do it justice. I always, always wanted a glamour shot and my mom wouldn't let me have one. I bet it was a lot of fun, wasn't it?
You DO look like a real estate person. Holy crap!
I think I peed myself. Thanks for that.
I'm pretty sure that even now, anyone who goes to glamor shots ends up looking like a girl from Texas with big hair. ;)
Oooh Ooooh "These are the days of our lives"
The hair reminds me of old school Reva Shane from Guiding Light... heehee, oh god I'm really becoming a desperate house hussy... soaps. SWEET!
I don't have a caption, but that glamor shot is priceless.
I was so laughing the other day thinking... where ever did Glamour Shots go? :)
i totally have this same picture, except the jacket is black.
definitely a real estate business card!!
Caption: "Dis whut I call my glamur pose."
Totally agree that it is a Nancy Grace pose!! And most definitely a real estate business card! I can't seem to think of a good caption but it was definitely a good chuckle :)
ha! I remember glamor shots. OH how funny. I wonder if I could dig mine up???? We so would have been pals. I had the same hair.
Caption: I'm too sexy for my fringe, too sexy for my fringe....
