Poor Buddy....

Gage had to have a dental procedure yesterday which involved conscious sedation. He had an inflamed nerve in one of his baby molars.
Poor buddy!!!!

He did well during the procedure, but then he started snoring pretty bad. Conscious sedation with the tonsil issues? Probably not the best timing, but the tooth nerve had to be dealt with, and he did just fine in the end. He was sooooo tired from the medicine....

When we got home, he slept for 3 hours!

...and then Ranger helped him nap, of course...

Then, he woke up.
He spent at least an hour in the bathroom, just certain that he was going to throw up. {He never did, thank goodness!} I suspected that his little tummy was just super hungry because he hadn't eaten since dinner the night before. He had to go into the procedure on an empty tummy, so I offered Club crackers, Sprite, and a warm bath. He ate a sleeve & a half of crackers! Buddy was hungry!!!!

I just feel so bad for our little guy.
Dental work yesterday.
Flu shot today.
Surgery next week.
Poor, poor buddy!
