Hubby's Having Surgery Today.
Okay you guys----pray for Hubby today. He's having surgery.
I haven't posted much about it.
It's just an outpatient procedure, but still---let's all just pray that everything goes easily & pray for as little pain during recovery as possible!
He's had chronic sinus infections, and the ENT doc said that he's got a deviated septum. So, he's having his deviated septum fixed & his sinuses...well...all scraped out. {I know, that sounds so gross, but I don't have any other way to describe it!}
It's not any life-saving or life-sustaining thing....but since we've met our deductible for this year, we figured we better fit this in before January 1st!
Doing it now will hopefully allow Hubby to be all healed before Christmas, and should there be any complications---we've got time to sort those out before January 1st as well!
:)

Many prayers and positive vibes for hubby. Hope all goes well xo
My hubby had the exact procedures a few years back. It was a bit painful, it was a lot gross (the immense amount of packing up the nose and sinuses and their removal!!). BUT, he's very glad he had it done and said when the packing was removed it was like breathing well for the first time, times about 100. He still snores like youwouldn't believe, though, unfortunately. Good luck to your hubby!
Will be thinking about you guys. I had a friend who had it done a few years ago and after about 3 to 4 days, she was back in fighting form, although it took about a week and a half for her bruises to go down.
Ryan had something very similar a few years ago and he still talks about how glad he is that they did it. Plus, they straightened the outside of his nose a tiny, tiny bit. He was out of it for a few days, but so worth it in the end. Praying for your hubby and for you!
I've been sending good thoughts!! I often read on my iPad, but only comment on the pc because it's easier. Good thoughts your way!!
