Gage's 1st Trip to the Circus!
[WARNING: TONS & TONS OF PICS TO FOLLOW.]
So, Sunday morning (8/9/9), we headed downtown to the American Airlines Center....
....right across the street from where Mommy & Daddy used to live!
Why were we there? For Gage's 1st trip to the circus! {yes, he's 3. Deprived by some standards, I know...}
We got autographs & got to see some neat stuff during the pre-show...
And then, the show started!
There was a big, bright finale!
We had an AWESOME time!
But......let me just take a moment to mention (again) the various things that you could buy EVERYWHERE, and how expensive they were for what you get...
TWELVE DOLLAR Cotton Candy...{No thanks...}
TWENTY TWO DOLLAR Light Up Toy Things...{No thanks...}
And TEN DOLLAR Snow-Cones...{ummmm....yes, we bought one...}
{okay, okay...over-priced perhaps, but the elephant cup is pretty stinkin' cute!}
So, in the end, I learned that I will never ever again order a corny dog at the AAC {seriously, it was the worst corny dog I've ever had, and I couldn't stand to eat more than one bite!}, but we will definitely go back to the circus!
We were super excited to have the opportunity to go, and we all had such a wonderful time!

Hey, I bought one of those light things for T when we saw Seseme Street Live, but it wasn't 20, maybe $15. Still too much.
I hope little Gage is doing okay with his dental work.
1. The red noses suit ya all!
2. The prices were daylight robbery.
3. Awesome photos.
So much fun!!! You got great pictures. The cup may be been a lot, but it is super cute! :)
We went with some friends one time that had kids (before our kids) and that's all we bought was a sno-cone. I still have the white tiger cup that it came in and Rachel loves to drink out of it! =) Glad you had a great time!
Ugh. I hate those prices! But I always end up buying something way overpriced too.
YEAH, I'M GONNA NEED ONE OF THOSE CUPS
Awesome. We have the white elephant cup. It's the white elephant in the room. We also got the sword--and when I say "we," I mean "Grammy." It broke about a month later. What did you expect, right? The red noses are awesome and y'all will be reading that program book as a bedtime story for the rest of your life.
So very fun! We have never taken the kids.. well to cirque du soleil, but never the regular circus. What a blast!
