"First-time-Mom-Itis"

That's one of the official diagnoses from today's pedi visit.

He's so embarrassed---he doesn't even want to be seen with me!

Diagnosis...
The other one: teething.

Well...his ears look great. Thank goodness!
Turns out--he's getting 3 teeth. 2 that are just under the gums & have not broken through yet, and one that just the tip has broken through...not to mention tooth #5 that is only 1/2 way in.

So, he's just fussy from teething. That explains the not wanting to suck on a bottle, slight cough, runny nose, constant clinging, etc.

Teeth.
We just Couldn't WAIT for them to get here...And yet the process is making us all miserable!

When the doctor *(not the regular pediatrician b/c he's at his vacation home in New Mexico)* listened to his heart, she said, "Your heart sounds so happy! It said, 'I love Mommy!'" I thought it was really cute of her...
...doesnt take much to impress me.

Oh, and Gage has lost weight. He went from 23.4 pounds to 22 pounds, 13 ounces.
Not too much...just a little...
