Sunday Funday....

So, this post is really about last Sunday morning...but b/c I have been down & out, I'm just now getting around to publish it!

So, Saturday night was a late night...and in the end, Gage slept in the same shirt he wore to the pool party...you know, with his Santa Pajama pants. Because sometimes---as a parent, you just do what works...what's easy in the moment? Voila.

Nothing says Sunday fun like begging your parents to set up the Bounce House in the backyard for no good reason other than hearing you say "Pweeeeeeeeeeeease" is just too much to resist!

Well, did I ever mention that Tera lives across the street from me? It doesn't help her cause when we erect a bounce house in our backyard & Aubri stands at their front window screeeeeeeeaming to come over & bounce!

Well...the more the merrier. So what if it's early & we're still sitting around sipping coffee, right?

So, Tera, Nathan, & Aubri came over for a few minutes of bouncy fun...

And, how beautiful is Tera???
She just got her braces off!!!!

And...Gage THOROUGHLY enjoyed a juice box on the back patio while we all sat there under the misters!

Hey---if that's not a "Motts for Tots" ad, well, I just don't know what is!
:)

In other news: Melis & Colin have a tentative wedding date set for March. Whoohooo!

Mom & the crew are at Sea World. Couldn't go this year...maybe we'll catch y'all in SanAntonio next year!!!

All of the paperwork is done for Dad's fiance, R*. All that he's waiting on now is the US Stamp of Approval. He says that can take 7-12 months.

Hubby is home from his business trip. Yes, he was out of town when I was soooooo pukey sick. Mother In Law came & got Gage for me, and took care of him for 2 days while I tried not to die from a tummy bug. Don't I have the BEST Mother in Law??

That's about all I know for now!

7-12 months for paperwork to get married? Is she not a US Citizen? Did I miss something?

And, how cool are you guys to OWN a bounce house???? I was thinking about these today and how I could buy one and start renting it out...you know, in my spare time!

Judy: YOU GUESSED IT! Waiting on Immigration to give the OK!

The bouncehouse: bought at Walmart. It's small. We got it for Gage's 1st b-day party. It's cool for 1-5 year olds...no more than 2-3 kids in there at a time.It has a ball pit too, but I'm not cool enough to haul those out for 30 seconds of fun, round 'em up from the yard, and then pack them away. Nope...not that cool.

Okay, I missed it on the Immigration thing, too...oh lord. Well, ya know, that's maybe a GOOD thing, this 7-12 month waiting period. Lots of things can come to light in that amount of time. Not that there is anything to come to light...just sayin' :).

Yup, Tera is beautiful...but, then, so are you. I personally would KILL for your coloring, and it's definitely easy to see where Gage gets his gorgeous eyes. And besides, you're the only person I know who looks terrific in glasses. You remind me of a girl that was in an allergy remedy commercial several years ago--seriously!

Fun times with the bounce house--very cool. Ya know, I get the impression that Gage's parents sort of like him a little bit. :)

I would def buy Motts from Gage. He's so freaking cute.

I agree with kim-d about the 7-12 months. I'm just so sorry that you have to go through that.

The bounce house is so fun! Someone in our neighborhood was telling me we should get one, but I'm pretty sure our yard isn't big enough.
Maybe the 7-12 month wait will give the couple time to reconsider?

That bouncer looks like fun!

When my niece spends the night, she's usually up at the crack of dawn and is ready to start playing. I always have to tell I need to have my coffee first. :o)
