New Words.

We have some new words:

"Stah"=Stop. Sometimes there is a true "p" sound on the end, but it's really hit or miss with that. This is actually a word that I kind of wish Gage could "un-learn."
Scenario:
Me: "Somebody needs a new diaper." (I am usually either saying or singing this.)
Gage: "Stah." He is running away from me, looking back....
I chase him down, all the while he is yelling, "Stah! Stah! Stah!"
I lay him down. The yelling turns into sad, pitiful, pathetic crying & wails...."Staaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Staaaa-aaaaah. Staaaaaah."
And voila. The diaper change is over.

"Cah"=car. (where the hell did my child pick up this Boston accent? "He pahked the cah in Hahvad yahd...")

"Cat"=cat. (duh.)

"Skurl"=squirrel.

"Chi-in"=chicken.

We still say...
"Hi."
"Bye-Bye"....which has morphed a bit...sometimes. Sometimes it's "Bye-Bye 'age." which, we believe comes from him hearing, "Bye-Bye, Gage." We think he's mimicking that.
"Shuz"=shoes.
"Ome"=home.
Mommy, Mama, MomMom, Daddy, Dada...
"oof-oof"=woof, woof (Eddie....)
"Mi-Mi"=Milk-Milk (Sippy of milk)
"Nigh-Nigh"=Night-Night
"BATH!" My child loves baths. He can't seem to say this word, only yell it. Repeatedly.

I'm sure there are more...but this is the list for now.
:)
