Bad Mommy! Bad!
So...maybe I'm not the best mommy in the world.
It's okay...I never claimed to be.
My husband routinely tells me that I shouldn't be teaching Baby Gage this or that...
Like....
Letting him stand on the counter-top to get his own sippy & lid.
He likes to get it himself.

Of course I am RIGHT THERE, so he's not going to fall, or if he does--I'm literally right there to catch him.
It's not like I put him up on the counter & leave the kitchen.
And....how does my husband think I reach things on the top shelf of the cabinets?
I'm five feet tall....almost.
If I want something up there, I jump up on the cabinet, stand up, and get it.
Then I jump down.
So...maybe I shouldn't be giving him any ideas just yet...you know, about scaling the kitchen cabinets....but he likes it, and it works for us...
I'll just have to make it an "occasionally" kind of treat.

And hey....finally there is someone in the world who has cupboards that match mine!
Have you seen the reality show "Little People, Big World?" Its either on Discovery or TLC...anyway, its about "little people"- a whole family of them, and they got this awesome kitchen designed for people of short stature! Tiny fridge, low cabinets, low countertop- A little girl's play house dream come true!
You should get that....your husband would have to deal, but Im certain your child-at-heart girlfriends would LOVE IT!
If he thinks that's bad, show him the video of 3B falling over. "Why didn't I catch him? Well, I had to film his every waking moment, in hopes that I would capture his first time standing, that's why." I'm sure that child protective services will believe me--I've got the evidence to support my case. For the record, no child was harmed in the filming of that fall.
