"Corporate Restructuring."

We had layoffs & a demotion in my department at work today.

I'm exhausted.

I've been up since 3am.

I am lucky to still have a job.

I am very sad for the 2 in our department who are being laid off.

My eyes are puffy & stinging from crying & lack of sleep---though I didn't cry during the actual layoff announcement/"meeting."

I had a test tonight at school after a looooong day at work.

I'm exhausted.

Oh no. I feel so bad for everyone who is struggling. I just hope that my family will not be added to that list anytime soon. Someone please tell me it will get better soon.

A lot of crying these days. We must all stick together! And weeping with those who weep is one way to do just that!

Big hug to you! Be gentle with yourself!

Oh that's horrible about the layoffs. Our nurse manager has been on the nurses backs to stop the overtime, BUDGET BUDGET BUDGET! We are supposed to start report at 2:50PM but aren't supposed to swipe in until 2:53, that makes a lot of sense. I guess I am glad I still have a job too.

Ugh. Those meetings STINK. Been there, done that. I'm glad that you are "safe" and sorry for those who aren't.

That's miserable. And so hard to be left with a job and sad for your friends and relieved for yourself. ((hugs))
