Ugh. It was quite unnatural. Also, all my counseling sessions that I did (about 350 hours worth) were videotaped and had to be watched and discussed with a fellow group of students. I often tended to focus on how weird my hair looked that day or what was up with my outfit choice as opposed to my actual counseling skills....Phillips Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14477867770142061901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7994311.post-62786139239495591352009-01-25T13:29:00.000-08:002009-01-25T13:29:00.000-08:00Jeez. That sounds like someone's avoiding reality.

I had the same reaction when reading about the role plays. You're going to do them, do them well, and LIVE.

I've used those (well, some brand) clickers in class as a teacher. They're nifty and all that and there's a lot of pressure to use them to "engage" people of generations younger than ours. I'm not sure if they're that successful. Well, they were great for test prep, but otherwise... ?Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15456733077542868694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7994311.post-6831356780707453552009-01-25T05:42:00.000-08:002009-01-25T05:42:00.000-08:00Very strange encounter with an apparently very str...Very strange encounter with an apparently very strange man.
Best of luck with the course and the dreaded role playing.Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14110235078325434919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7994311.post-58879130030866203322009-01-25T05:25:00.000-08:002009-01-25T05:25:00.000-08:00"Role Playing" would most definitely send me into ..."Role Playing" would most definitely send me into a panic attack! The Humanities professor is a pompous ass who is so busy being intellectually superior that he forgets to instruct, and I have already, in Week 2, had a big e-mail fight with him. But at least I don't have to role play. Yet. That I know of.

I'll pray for you if you pray for me. We CAN, respectively, do this. We freakin' HAVE to.
